How to use it
Choose a course, open chat, and explore your materials
EHRD Virtual TA is designed to be easy to use. Visitors can review the basic workflow here; logged-in users receive detailed instructions for their role.
1. Register with an approved email and code
Create your account with the email your instructor has approved for the course and the private registration code they provide. If registration does not work, ask your instructor to check your approval or issue a new code.
2. Choose the right course
Select your course and choose Talk to your TA for full chat, or Modules beneath that course for materials and activities. The highlighted Course modules button in chat opens the same course materials.
3. Read, practice, and ask questions
Read the module materials and try the practice questions. Ask the tutor to explain a concept or give feedback on your thinking; it knows the module or lesson you are viewing. Mark activities complete to track your own progress. Standalone chat and study tools are also available.
4. Check official course details
Use the assistant for learning support, but confirm deadlines, grades, policies, and final decisions with Canvas, the syllabus, and your instructor.
5. Keep your account current
Use account settings to update your preferred name or change your password. Your access remains tied to the approved course email list.
